Charlie's Comments on the You Can't Take It With You Photo Shoot

I hope you enjoy browsing the photos and please take advantage of downloading or printing the images for your personal use. The images are captured in a standard 35mm aspect ratio of 1:1.5. This makes for a natural fit for 4x6 prints but they will need cropping to adjust to the 5x7 or 8x10 formats. Webshots and Ofoto both offer good quality services. Follow the links on my page to see the galleries I setup on Webshots and Ofoto. You can also download the fullsize images and print them on your home photo quality printer or bring them to your favorite photo service for printing.

Technical Details
As in the previous shoots, all photos were taken with a Canon 10D and a Canon 550EX flash. The majority of the shots were taken with the flash bounced off the high ceiling and a pop-up reflector on the flash body provided catchlights for the eyes. The ISO rating for all the shots was 400. All the photos were taken with a Sigma 17-30mm zoom. A Quantum Turbo Z external battery pack provided the power needed to bounce off the high ceiling and provide fast recycle times. The images were captured in a JPEG format and processed through Photoshop for levels, sharpening, cropping, and compression.

The stage lighting was bright and it made my job pretty easy. I shot all the images at 400 ISO. Post-processing in Photoshop was minimal.
